The McCulloch 742 is a more powerful saw from McCulloch with a longer 16" bar for low friction and high speed cutting performance. This model supercedes the 442.
Most of McCulloch's range of Petrol Chainsaws are supplied fully assembled. They are designed with chrome-plated teeth and specially designed chains for low friction, high-speed cutting performance. The vertical cylinder design provides good balance and the primer pump facility makes starting easy and reliable. They all have built in kick-back protection and rapid chain stopping times for added safety as standard.
